April Reimer, wife of Toronto Maple Leafs goalie James Reimer, stopped by The Social to talk about her new campaign to combat cyberbullying.
Launched after April became a victim to social media harassment by disgruntled hockey fans, #TweetSweet aims to challenge students to spread positive messages through online social networks.
Watch the clip above to hear more from April about her new initiative, how she initially responded to being bullied and her husband's reaction to the cyberbullying.
You can support April's anti-cyberbullying campaign by using the hashtag #TweetSweet – it could also land hockey fans some “sweet seats,” as April mentioned during her chat with the hosts.
