How Jeremiah Brown went from civilian to Olympian in four years flat

Sean O'Neill
After university, Jeremiah Brown set an ambitious goal for himself—he wanted to be an Olympic rower, despite never having tried the sport.

His journey is told in the pages of his new book, The 4 Year Olympian, and the book is as much about his athletic life as his personal life. He started as a football player at McMaster University. Things were going as planned until two weeks into his second year, when his girlfriend told him she was pregnant.

In the video clip above, Jeremiah tell the hosts where his goal of being an Olympic rower came from, what the training process was like, and whether they Olympics were everything he dreamed they would be.
