One woman's quest to get us all to love our bodies more

Taryn Brumfitt is on a crusade to help woman love their bodies more. It all started almost four years ago, when she gained international attention after posting a before-and-after photo on Facebook that was anything but traditional.

We'll get to that in second.

Taryn loved being pregnant, but after the birth of her third child she became obsessed with getting back to her pre-baby body. She eventually decided to have surgery—liposuction and breast implants—but right before the procedures were scheduled, Taryn backed out.

She started obsessively working out and changed her eating habits and ended up with what many would consider the “perfect body”—but it didn't give her the pleasure she thought it would.

Fast forward a few years and Taryn decided to post the before and after photo on Facebook after listening to friends obsess over their bodies. However, she swapped the traditional before and after photos, and it immediately went viral.

Taryn recently sat down with the hosts to talk about her relationship with her body after having kids, why she backed out of having surgery, and how she felt when she achieved the “perfect bikini body”. She also talked about her documentary (which she wrote, directed and starred in), Embrace: One Woman's Journey to Inspire Every Body.
