Can a one-minute workout actually be effective?

Some of us (we’re looking at you, Melissa) could spend an entire afternoon at the gym, but lately there’s been a lot of talk about the benefits of super short, super intense workouts. 

We sent Jess Allen to McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario to investigate, but that’s not all. We also sat down with the author of The One Minute Workout, Martin Gibala, to learn more about why HIIT workouts are such a hit. You can watch his conversation with the hosts in the video clip above.
